Terms of Use

Welcome to TradeMV (trademv.com), an online classifieds marketplace for the Republic of Maldives. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TradeMV.

1. Our role. TradeMV is a venue that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction, we do not own or inspect the items listed, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing or user. Any deal is strictly between the buyer and the seller.

2. Eligibility and your account. You must be able to form a binding contract under Maldivian law. Provide accurate registration details, keep your password secure, and note that you are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Your listings and content. You are responsible for the listings and messages you post, and you confirm that you have the right to sell what you list and that your content is accurate and lawful. You keep ownership of your content; by posting it you grant TradeMV a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and promote it for the purpose of operating the service.

4. Prohibited items and conduct. You may not list illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, counterfeit or stolen items, protected wildlife, or anything prohibited under the laws of the Republic of Maldives. No scams, fraud, phishing, spam, duplicate posting, impersonation, harassment, or misuse of the messaging system, and do not ask buyers to send deposits off the platform.

5. Fees. Posting basic listings is currently free. We may add optional paid features in future, such as listing promotions or business and store plans; any charge will be shown clearly before you pay.

6. Moderation. Users can report listings. We use automated triage that our team reviews, and we may edit, hide, suspend, or remove listings or accounts that breach these Terms or the law. A lister whose item is suspended is notified by email and may appeal.

7. Disclaimers and safety. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Meet in a safe public place, inspect items before paying, and never send advance deposits to sellers you have not met. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeMV is not liable for losses arising from dealings between users. See our safety tips.

8. Termination. You may stop using TradeMV and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breaches of these Terms.

9. Changes.We may update these Terms; material changes will appear here with a new “last updated” date, and continued use means you accept them.

10. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
