Product Description TDS stands for "Total Dissolved Solid", which refers to the total amount of dissolved solids. Total dissolved solids are a general term for inorganic salts and organic substances dissolved in water. Its main components include calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium ions, carbonate ions, bicarbonate ions, chloride ions, sulfate ions, nitrate ions, etc. Therefore, a TDS meter is a tester for total dissolved solids. The unit of the TDS meter is ppm (i.e. mg/L). Its reading is defined as a proportional value of conductivity, generally around 0.7. The reference temperature for automatic temperature compensation of the TDS meter is usually 25°C, and the temperature coefficient is generally 2%/°C. The 139 series pen-type meters deliver reliable measurement results with simple and fast operation. This pen-style TDS meter is convenient for handheld measurement and adopts LCD screen to display readings.
